Four steps.
From the shirts in your closet to the keepsake on your bed. The only fiddly part is deciding which shirts to send.
Design it online
Quilt or blanket, the size, the backing. Your price updates as you go and nothing is final until you check out.
Wash the shirts
Shirts should be clean before they're cut — we work with them for weeks. Wash and dry them as you normally would, no ironing needed. Or add cleaning at checkout for $20 and send them as they are.
Post them to us
A shipping label lands in your inbox the moment your order goes through. Print it, tape it to any box, and hand it over. No cutting, no folding, no prep.
It comes back finished
We stabilise, cut and sew every block, quilt it, bind it, and post it back to you ready to give.
Quilt, blanket, or mosaic?
The first thing the order form asks. It takes about thirty seconds to know which one you want.
There are really only two decisions here. Quilt or blanket is about how it’s made. Mosaic is about how it’s laid out — a Mosaic is a quilt too, just not in an even grid.
T-Shirt Quilt
Three layers: your shirts on the front, soft batting in the middle, fabric on the back. Stitched all the way across to hold the layers together.
Feels like: Warm and substantial, like a proper bed quilt.
Choose it if: You want the thing that gets kept, used and handed on.
T-Shirt Blanket
Two layers: your shirts and a soft backing, joined around the edge. No batting in between and no stitching across the middle.
Feels like: Light and drapey, more like a throw over the back of a sofa.
Choose it if: You want something to actually use every day, for less.
Mosaic Quilt
A T-Shirt Quilt — same three layers — but the blocks are different sizes fitted together instead of one even grid. You arrange it yourself in the Design Studio.
Feels like: The same as the quilt. It's the front that's different, not the build.
Choose it if: Your shirts are all different sizes, or you want a layout nobody else has.

Step one also asks how you want it laid out
Same shirts, same sizes, same everything else — just a different arrangement of the blocks.
A grid — every block the same
Even rows and columns, 12″ or 15″ blocks. The classic T-shirt quilt, and the one to pick if you have a stack of ordinary tees and want them to look orderly. A single block can be split into four quarters, so a small pocket logo doesn't have to sit alone in a 15-inch block.

A Mosaic — blocks of any size
You set every block's width and height, down to a single inch. A jersey number can run thirty inches wide with a race bib as a small square beside it, and plain one-inch patches of colour filling in around them — nothing gets trimmed to fit a grid it was never going to suit.

One shirt, two photos. Closer looks bigger, farther looks smaller — the photo alone has no idea how big it really is.
Add the paper — it's always 8.5 × 11.

The paper shrinks and grows in the photo exactly like the shirt does. Since a sheet is always 8.5 × 11 inches, both photos now measure true.

Because the paper tells us the scale, a 12 × 12 inch block lands on the same spot at the same real size — no matter how close or far the photo was taken.
The paper is only ever in the photograph. It never touches the quilt.
It takes about ten seconds a shirt, once, and it is what lets the Design Studio show every shirt at its real size against a real block — so you know what each square will show before anything is cut.

Almost any shirt.
Cotton tees, jerseys, polos, long-sleeves, hoodies, sweatshirts — even shirts with pockets, embroidery, or sequins. We interface every square, so stretchy or delicate fabrics behave themselves once they're cut.

Shipping, both ways
Free both ways on orders over $300 — there and back, nothing to pay. Under that it's $20 for the whole order however many quilts are in it. Either way your shipping label is emailed to you the moment your order goes through, so you can post the shirts the same day.
Turnaround
Typically four to six weeks from the day your shirts arrive, though it moves with demand. We work through quilts in the order they reach us — no queue-jumping, whoever asks loudest.

Tell us when you order, or email any time after. A graduation, a birthday, an anniversary of a loss — we will always do our best to work around it, and we'd far rather know early than be told the week before.
Made to be used
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. It's a keepsake, but it isn't a museum piece — the whole point is that it ends up on a bed rather than in a box.
